Patchwork cushion with denim scraps (from my friend Johanna's old jeans), hand quilted with cotton sashiko thread onto a cotton backing (from a repurposed sheet).

The other side is handwoven wool with hand dyed cotton inlay, all scraps leftover from another project. The warp is 100% cotton and has an ombré effect - going from white to grey and back to white. This weave is inspired by the changing tides in the bay where my parents live in France and was handwoven on Janet, my 16 shaft table loom. 

  • Handwoven fabric front (cotton warp, wool and cotton weft), back is upcycled cotton and elasthane denim patchwork. 
  • Handmade denim ties for the closure
  • Dimensions : 45 x 45 cm 
  • Inner :  Goose feather and down, 50 x 50 cm (included) 

Care

  • All cushions have been pre-washed and should not shrink, distort or discolour while washing at home.
  • Spot clean with a gentle detergent.
  • Turn inside out before washing.
  • Please wash on a gentle / delicate cycle at 30 degrees or with cold water, spin between 400-600 rpm and lay flat to dry.
  • Alternatively, hand wash in warm water with a gentle detergent and wring gently, then lie flat to dry. 
  • Avoid direct sunlight as it may cause colours to fade.
  • Do not bleach.

  • Should your cushion become damaged in any way, please get in touch via email and I’ll see how I can fix it for you.
