Handwoven 'patchwork' wool cushion with a pieced patchwork back from offcut fabric scraps.
One side is handwoven with vintage wool I was gifted from another weaver who wasn't using it anymore (it had been gathering dust for over 35 years!) and features patchwork inlays with wool and mohair, all sourced second hand. This fabric was handwoven on Essie, my small table loom.
The other side is an almost mirrored image, made from a patchwork of 100% linen offcuts from a local mill. The natural linen colour varies naturally, with some pieces appearing more yellow and others more pink in tone. It is hand quilted onto a 100% cotton backing (made from a repurposed sheet) with cotton sashiko thread.

Care
All cushions have been pre-washed and should not shrink, distort or discolour while washing at home.
Spot clean with a gentle detergent.
Turn inside out before washing.
Please wash on a gentle / delicate cycle at 30 degrees or with cold water, spin between 400-600 rpm and lay flat to dry.
Alternatively, hand wash in warm water with a gentle detergent and wring gently, then lie flat to dry.
Avoid direct sunlight as it may cause colours to fade.
Do not bleach.
