The yellow cotton is all leftover (and these truly are the last pieces of it) from my bachelor's in Textile design graduation project. I saved the thrums (the leftover bits of warp yarn) and held on to them for years, just in case I could use them for something special...  I had to carefully sorted them from pale to saturated and pale again, creating a gradient reminiscent of the sun setting.

This was woven in an overshot pattern on Janet, my 16 shaft table loom, as a part of the Overshot sketch series, 2023.

Materials: linen warp, linen and cotton weft.

Dimensions : 39 x 42.5 cm (including fringe)
